Bombers Fastpitch Organization Adds More Teams To The Central Texas Program!
New Braunfels, TX, July 22nd, 2020
The Bombers Fastpitch Organization is pleased to announce the addition of a 2007 and 2008 team in the Central Texas Area. Please welcome the Texas Bombers CTX 07-Rogers and the Texas Bombers CTX 08-Rogers teams. We are excited to welcome the players, coaches, and their families to the Bomber Nation.
Both teams will be managed by Rob Rogers who has 4-year coaching experience and focus on the team's use of technology to improve their metrics. Rob has a facility that utilizes Rapsodo, Win, and Hit Trax and works with the players on their development. Rob has put together an amazing staff of accomplished coaches and trainers. Alex Stewart is a former All American Pitch from ULL and was the Sunbelt Conference Pitcher of the year in 2016. in 2017 she was one of only a few collegiate pitchers to have 25 wins including a 20 game win streak. She will work with both teams pitching staff. Also on staff will be Chelsea Thomas who played college softball at UTSA and Missouri State. Chelsea was an accomplished hitter and infielder and work with both teams on hitting and defense. Assistant coach Hiram Pena has 8 years of experience coaching fastpitch including a state and National Championship team. Larry Hernandez is a former collegiate pitcher who has been coaching for 6 years and will assist with the 2008 team. Kevin Oglesby is a former college pitcher with 7 years of coaching experience and will work with the 2007 team.
