HEADLINE: Bombers Organizations adds New Gold Team~
New Braunfels, TX-April 19th, 2018.
The Bombers Fastpitch Organization is excited to announce a new gold team called the Texas Bombers Gold HTX 14U– Burgess. The organization is thrilled about the expansion of the National Program with this team coming over from Impact Gold Organization. The Texas Bombers Gold HTX 14U-Burgess team is an impactful addition to the Bombers program, finishing Top 5 at the PFG Nationals in 2017, becoming the Texas Gold Cup Champs and made the final 8 at the Legacy Prospects Tournament. Program Director Scott Smith thoughts about the new addition is, “I can not tell you how excited I am to add a team of this caliber to our program. Their history of competing at the highest level and the success they have had in that arena is awesome. James’s background as a collegiate baseball player who played in the College World Series is invaluable to coaching them up to compete at that level. To add this much talent into an already super strong 14U group of Bomber teams will really strengthen our base of talent in that age division.”
The TX Bombers Gold HTX 14U team will bring more than just success to the Bombers Program, they will bring speed with Seleste Compian who is a speedy slapper at the top of their lineup with 112 stolen bases and 62 RBI’s last year, adding to what the Bombers Organization is already known for, and that is being the “fastest show on dirt!” With the speed at the top of the line up, following Seleste is some the best power hitters in Houston with, Katie Lott, Victoria Valdez and Ellington Whitaker who led her teams in home runs. The entire team will be a tough competitor with a fairly new pitching staff that has great range to keep the offense off their toes. The Bombers Organization is excited to welcome the Texas Bombers Gold HTX 14U-Burgess team with open arms and is excited to see what they bring to the table in this 2018 summer season.
