Bombers Fastpitch To Unveil New "Bomber Performance Lab" New Braunfels, TX - Effective Ja
The Bombers commitment to a data-driven approach to player development has fueled this move to build this state of the art facility that will help all Bomber players reach their highest levels. The facility will incorporate the best equipment in the game such as Blast Motion Sensor Technology, Rapsodo Pitch Tracking Devices, Hit Trax Hitting Simulators, Edgertronic Cameras used for High-Speed Motion Capture as well as many other features. Bomber players will receive player assessments and training in the performance lab every 6 weeks and will be provided with real-time feedback and training protocols that will aid in player development. National Program Director and Texas Bombers Gold 18U Head Coach Scott Smith had this to say, "This step towards utilizing performance metrics and incorporating the best technology that exists in our sport is going to help our players reach new levels. This technology and moreover the approach of using data to establish pathways for player development is the way forward in our sport. We want our players to be part of this approach to training and to give them the best chance for success at the next level. This takes nearly all of the guesswork out of the equation and adds science to the already vast softball knowledge of our fine coaches" The 4,800 sqft facility will be located in New Braunfels, TX and will house the administrative offices of Bomber Fastpitch Inc. In addition to the administrative staff the Bombers are excited to announce the following position as part of the new "Bomber Performance Division" of Bombers Fastpitch:
