Bombers Fastpitch Adds 3 New Teams in Waco, TX” January 28th, 2019  New Braunfels, TX

The Bombers Fastpitch Organizations is so excited to announce the addition 3 new teams joining our program. We are always so excited to add quality coaches the Bomber Nation and we are happy to add them to our strong staff of coaches! The former American Freedom 12U, 16U, and 18U teams will be added to our Central Texas Region and the 16U and 18U will become our Central Texas Gold teams. These teams will help strengthen our presence in the Waco and Central Texas area for Bomber Fastpitch. Additionally Seth Alcozer will serve as the Director of the Waco Region and will work with our player development team to grow the players in his area.

Here is a quote from the CTX Bombers 18U Gold Head Coach Seth Alcozer, "First, thank you to American Freedom for the opportunity to be part of their organization for the last year and a half. I’ve known Bombers Program Director Scott Smith since I first started coaching 6 years ago. Our relationship over the years has evolved to becoming friends. I have come to respect him not only as a builder of the Bomber organization on the field, but more so as a man. To join Bombers is a great opportunity for our girls, and for the Central Texas area. I will continue to work hard for our girls and the Central Texas area in the role of Central Texas Director for the organization. I am blessed to have three coaches join me that are great men, who are all not only great teachers of the game, but great motivators and developers of life skills through this amazing game. Kyle Letbetter and Brandon Tanner will coach the 16u team, and Matt Sebek will coach our 12u team. I look forward to representing the Bomber name in and around our great and growing Central Texas Region. Not only on the field of play, but more importantly, off the field to build great young ladies. Lastly, I’m delighted to be back coaching in the same organization as my close friend John ‘Carp’ Carpenter! Let’s go #BOMBERNATION!”

These 16 u and 18u teams have competed well against some of the top teams in the nation and will continue to seek out the best competition to advance their players! Here are a few of the teams recent accomplishments:

* 7th place finish at USSSA Nationals

* 33rd out 96 teams at the Champions Cup in California

* 8 current college commits on the roster
