Bombers Fastpitch Organization is proud to announce that we are expanding into the Kansas City area. Please welcome Diamond Club Premier-Adkins to the Bomber Nation!

Head coach James Adkins has put together an experienced coaching staff with over 30 years of experience who have a common goal of striving to improve themselves and their players. Their tight nit group of players welcomes being challenged and will fit right in with the Bombers mindset of  being part of a bigger Family and creating and ATTACKING mindset on the dirt!!

Head coach James Adkins began coaching while still in college, as the assistant varsity head coach at Bonner Springs High School (KS) where he enjoyed two trips to the State semi-finals in four seasons. He also spent a lone season as the head baseball coach at Hume High School (MO), the school’s best season in a decade. In total, Coach Adkins has more than 15 years of coaching experience in softball and baseball, with his true passion being the speed and strategy of the fastpitch game. James was also integral in bringing Blast Motion technology to his team and fully understands the advantages of metric based training.

Assistant coach Aaron Kaden joined the coaching staff three seasons ago, and has a combined eight years of experience as both a head coach and assistant with teams in the Kansas City area. Likewise, assistance coach Tony Shelley is in his second season on the coaching staff, and has also enjoyed success as both a head coach and assistant for the past eight seasons.

This team is strong and ready to compete, most recently they won the USSSA NIT on Memorial Day and will continue to compete this summer as the KC Bombers 18u-Adkins while integrating the Bombers system for  player development and recruiting. As part of the Bomber Fastpitch Organization the team will gain full access to the Bombers player development staff, coaches training workshops, and recruiting seminars as well as the deep discounts offered by the programs sponsors-Easton, New Balance, Black Star Athletics, Blast Motion, Bownet, and Hyper Graphics.

Keep a look out for the KC Bombers on the field this summer!
