August 3, 2019

Bombers Fastpitch Organization is excited to announce that we are adding a National 14u team to the North Texas area. Mizuno Impulse 2023 Owens has joined the Bombers Organization effective immediately and is now the Texas Bombers 14U Gold Owens.

This coaching staff and the team has been very successful on the national stage and we are excited about the continued expansion in the North Texas Market.  Head Coach Barrett Owens is a former baseball player who has been coaching fastpitch for the last 6 years.  Associate Head Coach Chris Pomeroy is a former college football player for Texas A&M University and has been coaching fastpitch since 2015 with Mizuno Impulse. Assistant Coach Becky Jones was a former collegiate pitcher and has been coaching fastpitch for 6 years. Rounding out the staff is Recruiting Coordinator John Brochu, he has been involved in coaching and recruiting for the past 10 years. He also had a daughter who played for the University of Arkansas and the University of Illinois.

The team is nationally ranked and has won multiple state championships and Top Gun events. They have qualified for USA Elite Select multiple years and are currently at PGF in the 14U Premier Division. This team has a strong core group of players and will be holding tryouts August 11th, from 2 pm to 6 pm at Southfork Sports Complex in Parker TX to hopefully add a few more talented players. The team will be based out of Southfork Sports where they have access to indoor facilities and turf fields.  Coach Owens is specifically looking for players who have the desire and work ethic to compete at the highest level in pursuit of a college career playing softball.  Contact Barrett Owens at (214)-801-9193 or email him at  barrett@wacustom.com

Please join us in welcoming them to the Bomber Nation!!!
