Bombers Fastpitch Organization is extremely pleased to announce that we are adding 5 teams in Colorado this coming season. Please welcome the Colorado Diamonds to the Bomber Nation! We are excited to welcome the players, coaches and their families to the Bombers Fastpitch Organization.
The Diamonds were founded in 2001 with the intent of providing additional opportunities for young ladies and girls to continue to play the game they love at a higher level. Through the years the Diamonds have worked to keep costs down while providing the best possible playing opportunities with a focus on player and coach development. Current President Jeff Dunning has been running the program for the last 8 years, along with the help of board members Kevin Quick, a veteran coach with over 20 years of fastpitch experience and Terra Washco a local product who coaches at the 16u level and also handles the camps and vendors relations. The Diamonds have created a program of 15 teams who have access to a 4,400 sq. ft turfed training center with batting cages and hitting stations for year-round work. The program has been very successful with multiple state championships in 2019 and had teams earning berths to USA Elite Select WFC and ASA/USA Nationals. Additionally, they host multiple training camps and tournaments including the USA Softball Colorado State Championship.
The Diamonds organization will continue to operate, but moving forward their 5 teams will be developed under the Bombers Fastpitch Organization and serve as a development option for teams beginning their journey into travel ball. We are excited to work together to define pathways of progression for teams to become part of the Bomber Brand through training and development. We will also assist with recruiting, player performance and coaches workshops, with the addition of players, benefiting from discounts from sponsors, including Easton, Black Star Athletics, New Balance, Hyper-Graphics and Bownet.
Please join me in welcoming them to the Bomber Family!!!
