The Bombers Fastpitch Organization would like to announce the addition of The Georgia Bombers 2012 based out of the Atlanta area. We are excited to welcome the players, coaches, and their families to the Bomber Nation. The team has finished this past season with a state championship and a top 6 finish at USSSA Nationals and looks to build on that success going forward.

This team will be coached by Brett Miller and Stephen Orebaugh, who will share head coach duties. Both men have years of coaching experience and have built successful teams that look to compete at the highest level.

Bret got his start coaching the recreational leagues and all-star teams before moving to travel ball. His teams have had a lot of success on the field, while also being pushed to be stronger physically and mentally. Brett believes coaching is more than just teaching softball it’s about empowering young girls to become strong, independent young women.

Stephen Orebaugh grew up with coaching as the family business. His dad, the original Coach O, coached at both the High School and Collegiate level. Stephen got his coaching start running analytics and assisting in game planning for his dad before heading off to play college football and lacrosse. He knows what playing at the next level takes and also how to train players to get there. For the past six years, he has been coaching softball and focused on the development and instilling confidence in his players. My goal is for the girls to get better and to continue to want to play the game. It’s meant to be a fun, memorable experience.

We are proud to add these coaches and players to the Bomber Family.
